Hey peeps! How's it goin in your world?

The first time I saw Quinta Brunson was while watching "A Black Lady Sketch Show" on HBO when it premiered season one. Shortly after I saw Quinta on her hit ABC series "Abbott Elementary". Both shows are delightful, and if you haven't heard of either you must be living under a rock! Just sayin. Seriously though, Abbott Elementary is one of my favorite shows these days. Like everyone else in the world I am anxiously awaiting season two. I get that classic feel-good vibe while watching. The same vibe I used to get while watching T.G.I.F shows back in the day. If you don't know, T.G.I.F - 'Thank God it's Friday' premiered back in the 90's on ABC. It was a weekly Friday night lineup of about 4 feel-good tv shows. *Trying hard not to age myself* I must humbly say, they just don't make 'em like that anymore. Anywho, to no surprise Abbott Elementary was recognized at the 2022 Emmy Awards with 7 total nominations! The series nabbed 3/7 including: Outstanding Casting For A Comedy Series, Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Comedy Series (Come on, Sheryl Lee Ralph! #Auntie), and Outstanding Writing For A Comedy Series. A much deserved ending to an impressive first season.

Speaking of impressive...Miss thang's (Quinta Brunson) recent fashion lewks have been head turning - double taking - jaw dropping honey! Everyone knows Quinta Brunson is a comedic genius, but who knew sis was also a fashion-slayer? Gotta admit I didn't (sorry girl!). Quinta and her wardrobe stylist, Bryon Javar, seem to be a fashion match made in Heaven. Each lewk is perfectly crafted from head to toe. Meaning the choice of hair & makeup, accessories and shoes all werk together in perfect harmony! Nothing cringes me more than a lewk that is half-done - tacky, sloppy, rushed, incomplete - it's just wrong, all wrong. My motto is: If You Can't Do It Right, Then Don't Do It At All. simple, yet effective. This dream team isn't afraid to play with colors or textures or silhouettes. I love most how Quinta's sexiness isn't compromised, but is celebrated in a tasteful and classy way. I mean....the opera gloves? Such a freaking Lady. 

I've attached some of the recent Quinta Brunson lewks I'm loving below. I can't even begin to choose my favorite as each lewk is gag worthy! Quinta baby, we stan!

My Best Friend's Closet

Hey there friends! Been a lil' minute. Hope you've all been in high spirits.   Well, let me begin by saying Happy November! I know I sound like a broken record, but honestly, how is it MID-NOVEMBER?! Wasn't it just Summertime? Even though I'm already missing the warmer temps, I gotta admit November always reminds me to slow down and be thankful. Gratitude and Positive Thinking are key elements. I may not have everything I want, but I have everything I need, and for that I give all thanks to God.  I am a very blessed woman. I consider my lifelong friendships to be one of my life's biggest blessings. I suppose it's more like Sisterhood at this point in life💗. Which leads me to another segment of My Best Friend's Closet.  Once again, Essy let me play in her closet and style her up!
