When it comes to Hollywood Award shows nothing compares to the Oscar's!!! Ever since I was little my mom & I would tune-in every year to find out the big winners, and it really became somewhat of a tradition! Now that I'm older I'm even more obsessed because the fashion means so much more!! As expected there were lavish gowns & tailored suits flooding the red carpet! It's that time again...Fashion Week Wooohoooooo!!! Fashion week is every girls dream...well at least it's always been mine. Except in my dream I never envisioned there being a blizzard LOL! Nevertheless I had to suck it up, put on my Carrie Bradshaw panties, and show the storm who was boss! I had such an amazing time with my good friend, JoAnna! We attended the AOA show, and the Elizabeth Smith show. Both were packed with extraordinary fashion! There was so much use of bold color that I was speechless. As you guys probably know by now color is my world! I'm also a lover of fur (sorry PETA), and there were so many fun and creative fur fashions! The Grammy's is considered fashion's...oops I mean music's biggest night! It's such a win/win awards show because I have such a strong love for music & fashion. This year's Grammy's was extra special for me because I had the privilege of assisting legendary wardrobe stylist, Wouri Vice with dressing Grammy Nominee Elle Varner. So many stars were shining brightly on the carpet, but obviously I'm biased and feel Elle was the belle of the ball! Elle wore the red dress dress to Clive Davis' Pre-Grammy's party, and the black & white number to the Grammy's. The red carpet was filled with an array of variety! There were wild prints, fabrics (loving John Meyer in vibrant blue velvet), and of course nearly there dresses...which hit close to home with the new dress code! Can't say I blame them though LOL!
